a plant company dedicated to people

The plants we grow and the people we care about inform the products we make.

We provide a space to strengthen connections between communities and the land, and support BIPOC farmers working together to build new collaborative systems through education + knowledge-sharing.

The gully bean is a small bitter green berry that grows wild on abandoned lands and "gullies" in Jamaica and is associated with a number of health benefits. We see value in growing the plants and investing in the people often overlooked.

Five percent of all sales help support an ecosystem of NYC's urban farms and food justice orgs that serve nutritious veggies, fruits and herbs to communities of color.
